Suggested fabrics:

Main: Medium to heavyweight fabrics such as tweed, boucle, viscose linen, melton, jacquard and boiled wool. You may wish to use the selvedges of the fabric to add fringe to your jacket, but you can also use a frayed bias strip of your fabric (this won’t work for melton). Note that if your fabric has a very loose weave, you may want to interface all the jacket panels.

Lining: Something with a silky finish so you can get the jacket on and off easily, such as satin, acetate, or even silk charmeuse for all-out luxury.

Fabric requirements:

Version 1 (with fringing): 1.15 m wide fabric: 1.9 - 2.1 m // 1.40 m wide fabric: 1.6 - 1.8 m.
